Like all drugs, there can be inherent complications. However, there could be more sinister reasons behind certain valsartan side effects people may suffer from.<\/p>\n

As a result, valsartan that\u2019s supplied by Actavis Group PTC (now Accord) and Dexcel Pharma Ltd is now subject to a recall.<\/p>\n

Last year, a Class 1 Medicines Recall was initiated by the MHRA<\/strong><\/a> (Medicines and healthcare products Regulatory Agency). This relates to potential NDMA contamination which may lead to valsartan side effects that are beyond what\u2019s already known and accepted.<\/p>\n

NDMA (nitrosodimethylamine) can be both carcinogenic and genotoxic. Respectively, that means that people may be at risk of cancer or damage to cells. As such, this is a very serious issue.<\/p>\n
