These are seen as elective surgeries as they are not actually needed in order to live, as such; but it&#8217;s understandable as to why many people would choose to go under the knife.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Cosmetic surgery negligence<\/h2>\n<p>Cosmetic surgery is known to carry risks. However, while many procedures go smoothly, there are instances where it does not, and you can make a claim.<\/p>\n<p>If a surgeon does act negligently or makes a mistake during a procedure, the result can leave a patient disfigured and with lifelong scars. It&#8217;s not just the physical impact of cosmetic surgery gone wrong that can be serious though &#8211; it can have a psychological effect of causing someone to have lower self-esteem and confidence issues as well; more so than before they had the surgery.<\/p>\n<p>As patients pay for cosmetic surgery themselves, if the surgery then goes wrong, they can end up paying out even more money in order to correct the problems caused by the original procedure. This can also lead to further complications that may be irreversible.<\/p>\n<p>There are different things you can claim for with cosmetic surgery negligence:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"blog-list\">\n<li>If the procedure was below the expected standard which leads to suffering, such as nerve damage or the puncturing of an organ;<\/li>\n<li>Sufficient aftercare was not given<\/li>\n<li>A defective product was used, such as with the pip implants that we dealt with;<\/li>\n<li>Poor surgical skill or technique;<\/li>\n<li>You were failed to be warned about the risks with the procedure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Making a claim<\/h3>\n<p>Just because it&#8217;s elective surgery doesn&#8217;t mean that you are unable to claim if something goes wrong.
